Glidepath has been a supplier of turnkey Baggage Handling Systems to the North American aviation industry for more than 20 years. In 2004 our commitment to this market was reinforced by establishing a dedicated USA engineering and manufacturing facility in Grand Prairie, Texas. More than 60 industry experienced professionals utilize computerized manufacturing tools to produce world class baggage handling systems.
Core Competencies
• Glidepath is especially experienced in providing integrated EDS screening solutions with more than 23 projects in 13 countries and integration of over 54 Explosion Detection System (EDS) machines. These design solutions include integrating EDS computer tomography (CT), X-ray machines and explosive trace detection devices (ETD's). Glidepath's in-line security screening software provides automation of tfully intergated EDS systems.
• Nimbleness in responding to fast track projects is a hallmark of Glidepath, having recently completed three short turnaround projects in North America concurrently. Glidepath can quickly respond to customer requirements with regulatory compliant and proven systems performance.
• Glidepath systems are commissioned to rigorous programs and standards and ongoing warranty and support is provided, minimizing cost of ownership. Operation and maintenance of conveyors, both newly installed and existing systems, can also be provided.
• Glidepath work with Vaculex to distribute a vacuum lift system in the United States. This system is an innovative ergonomic solution to handling airline baggage and air cargo. It is specifically designed to aid lifting for increased productivity and fewer job related injuries.
