As Covid-19 (Coronovirus) has been declared a pandemic by the World Health Organisation, Glidepath has activated its Business Continuity Plan (BCP). Like other global businesses, Glidepath is monitoring the situation in all countries it operates and following information, guidelines and restrictions being put in place by regional authorities.

Glidepath’s top priority is keeping its employees and customers safe and secondly, providing continuity of service to its customers. However, the Covid-19 pandemic is causing disruption outside of our control. The situation is changing regularly so in order to inform interested parties we will be updating the information below as we are further informed. 


There has been a significant reduction in shipping capacity and a shortage of containers. Globally, sailings are being cancelled and goods are taking longer to clear.

Airfreight capacity has reduced significantly as passenger flights are being cancelled, reduced or suspended.

Glidepath's New Zealand manufacturing facility is fully operational. 

As New Zealand COVID Alert Levels change, Project Managers and support staff are all equipped to work from home.

If New Zealand Alert moves to COVID Alert Level Four, our factory activities must suspend but Project Managers will be in touch if there is expected to be any project impacts. 


The site operation and maintenance teams are working with our airport and logistics clients to implement pandemic preparedness plans suitable to each site. These include preventative measures such as enhanced cleaning, social distancing of staff during shift changeovers, distancing of management and relief staff so that we have back-up available. In addition to this we are established to be able to provide remote monitoring of the systems should full staffing levels not be available on site.


Every effort will be made to meet contract deliverables - when and where restrictions allow - but our first priority is the safety of our employees and customers.
